Message	Z with any aftermarket electrical equipment. DC Power is apparently understaffed and under-stocked, but these Denso hairpin style alternators are a big improvement over oem. Aside from some one-size-fits-all alternators, I couldn't find a better new alternator for the Z32 (I'm the other guy Woody's talking about). Idle power generation is literally 3x greater than the stock alternator. Around 100 amps at idle vs 35 amps with the stock alternator. The improved power generation will prolong your battery life. Ripple current is also much lower. Don't buy one if you need it in a hurry, however I still recommend this alternator as the best electrical upgrade for our cars. No remanufactured alternator comes close. The "big-3 upgrade" on a Z with an oem alt will also not help much at idle.
